About the Summit
The 2022 Summit of the Americas will offer an in-person opportunity for the travel retail and duty free industry to gather together and discuss the major challenges and growing opportunities that the entire community and channels - suppliers, operators, airports, consumers and airlines - face in advancing the health and future growth of the industry. The Summit will focus on content delivery and executive learning sessions with ample time for networking and business-to-business meetings. A reduced exhibition and private meeting spaces will be important components of the event and are being offered in a more cost-effective and flexible arrangement as requested by our supplier partners. All exhibit and private meeting spaces will be open throughout the Summit hours and activities will run concurrently during the event, giving attendees more choice and the ability to tailor their schedules as needed.
The overall goal is to foster an environment of inclusion and engagement for all channels and components of the travel retail and duty free industry. This is what the industry has requested us to provide, and industry stakeholders have expressed their willingness and desire to come together in a cost-effective in-person event that focuses on learning and networking. Palm Beach offers numerous dining and other social settings within walking distance of the convention center and hotels, which adds to the convenience for participants and provides excellent choices for client entertainment and/or evenings with colleagues and friends.
This collaborative effort will involve a partnership with other industry organizations to coordinate the delivery of content that will appeal to all segments of the industry. These "content partners" will manage the composition and delivery of their sessions in coordination with IAADFS.
